How to Play Sugar Rush: Rules, Symbols and Every Button
Choose your total bet with + / –, press the round spin button, and wait for clusters of 5+ matching candies touching horizontally or vertically. Winning candies explode and new ones fall in; spots that win twice become multipliers (x2 up to x128). Land 3–7 gumball scatters for 10–30 free spins where multipliers stay all round.

- Open the game at a licensed casino (or in the free demo) and press the arrow on the intro screen.
- Set your total bet with – and + next to the spin button, or open the bet menu for precise control.
- Spin with the round arrow button, SPACE or ENTER. Hold SPACE for turbo.
- Watch the tumbles: wins are paid, symbols explode, new ones fall in until nothing else wins.
- Watch the marks: winning positions are marked; a second win there creates a multiplier.
- Trigger free spins with 3+ scatters — or buy them where available.

The bet menu
The menu shows Bet multiplier 20x, then three controls: Bet (level), Coin value and Total bet, plus Bet max. Total bet = bet level × coin value × 20. Example from our screenshot: 3 × C$0.05 × 20 = C$3.00. The in-game limits we saw were C$0.20 to C$240.

A cluster of 5 is small money (0.2x–1x); clusters of 12+ are where wins start to matter. The lollipop is the top symbol at 150x for 15+.
Tumbles and multiplier spots
Each winning symbol marks its spot. The next win on that spot adds x2; each further win doubles it (x4, x8 … x128). A cluster covering several multipliers adds them together. In the base game the marks vanish when the tumble sequence ends; in free spins they stay.
Free spins and the buy feature
3, 4, 5, 6 or 7 scatters give 10, 12, 15, 20 or 30 free spins, and the same scatter counts retrigger the round. The buy feature costs 100x your total bet and lands 3–7 scatters at random. Wins are capped at 5,000x.
Mistakes beginners make
- Starting with a bet that allows only 30–50 spins.
- Using autoplay without a loss limit.
- Buying the feature repeatedly to chase a loss.
- Not checking the RTP line (page 4 of the rules).
- Confusing coin view with cash view.

Player pain points — and how to deal with them
These are the complaints we see most often from Sugar Rush players, with what is actually going on and what you can do about it.
“I played 300 spins and never got the free spins”
Normal for a high-volatility slot: the game warns about it on its own rules page. Free spins need 3+ scatters on a 7×7 grid, and long stretches without them are part of the maths. Fix: size your bet so your session budget covers at least 150–200 spins, and decide in advance when you stop.
“My bonus paid almost nothing”
A free-spins round only pays big when marked spots grow into high multipliers and wins land on top of them. If tumbles are short, spots stay at x2–x8 and the round can return less than its cost. Fix: judge results over many features, not one; don't double the bet to “win it back”.
“There is no Buy Free Spins button at my casino”
The provider offers it (100x the bet), but each operator and jurisdiction decides whether to enable it. Many Canadian sites hide it. Fix: nothing is wrong with your account — play the base game or choose another licensed operator in your province.
“The RTP at my casino looks lower”

“The free spins stopped early with spins left”
That is the max-win cap: when a round reaches 5,000x the bet it ends immediately and the remaining spins are forfeited (rules page 3). It's a cap, not a malfunction.
“I can't tell my balance from my bet — numbers look strange”
The CREDIT and BET labels switch between coins and cash when you tap them. If you see big round numbers, you're in coin view. Tap again to return to dollars.
“The game froze / my connection dropped during free spins”
The round is stored on the provider's server. Reopen the game at the same casino and it normally resumes; the outcome is also visible under Menu → Game history. Screenshot the history if you need to contact support.
“Turbo and autoplay made me lose track”
Holding SPACE turns on turbo spins; autoplay runs spins in a row. Both make sessions faster than they feel. Fix: set a loss limit in autoplay and a deposit limit in your casino account.
“I won — why is my withdrawal pending?”
Licensed Canadian casinos must verify identity (KYC) before paying out, especially on first withdrawals. Send ID and proof of address early; Interac withdrawals are usually the fastest option.
